Now that you have a product and a way for people to buy it, you then need a way for people to pay you for that product. Did you know that you can accept credit card payments right on your website from people all over the world? Internet sites such as PayPal.com and ClickBank.com allow you to set up payment buttons on your website that allow you to digitally sell your product.

But, just because you build a website and have an information product to sell, does not mean that people will automatically flock to your site and buy what you have to offer. Like all businesses, you must advertise what you have for sale. There are numerous ways to do this (too many to mention in this short article) but the easiest way to get started (with no money) is to submit your website to all of the major search engines. Google, Yahoo, MSN and more are always crawling the web looking for new and updated websites. All you have to do is go to these sites and click on the "Submit Your Site" link (usually found at the bottom of the page) and enter the address of your site. Typically, within two weeks or so, these search engines will visit at your site and list it in their search results. Now people will come looking for you, instead of you looking for them.

Of course, you could also get more aggressive and purchase "keywords" and other advertising space on such sites, but we're talking here about the easy way to make money on the Internet. Those paid methods are a topic for another article.
